Datasets and reference tables

The tables contain Labour Market indicators for the North East. These cover economic activity, employment, unemployment, economic inactivity, full-time, part-time and temporary workers, workforce jobs, hours of work, Claimant Count by sex and duration of claim, economic activity by age, unemployment by age and economic inactivity by age and reason.

These tables contain sampling variability and revisions analyses for Labour Market indicators for the Countries and Regions of the UK. These cover employment, unemployment, economic inactivity

Labour Force Survey summary (employment, unemployment and inactivity) for men aged from 16 to 64 and women aged from 16 to 59. The employment and inactivity rates shown in this table were the headline employment and inactivity rates until August 2010, when ONS replaced these headlines rates with rates for those aged from 16 to 64 for both men and women. These new headline rates for those aged from 16 to 64 are shown in Table A02. Estimates of young people not in employment, education or training ("NEET") cannot therefore be derived from this table. This dataset contains Average Weekly Earnings (AWE) series. The AWE is the ONS's headline measure of short-term earnings growth. The data is derived from the Monthly Wages & Salaries Survey, a survey of employers.

This dataset contains the main labour market statistics data series. All of the series in this dataset are available in spreadsheet format from the labour market data tables. In this dataset Labour Force Survey (LFS) estimates are shown for the mid-month of the three-month average time periods. For example, estimates for January to March 2012 are shown as "February 2012", estimates for February to April 2012 are shown as "March 2012", etc.

This reference table provides full historical series for the monthly tables accompanying the February 2013 House Price Index Statistical Bulletin. This reference table also contains all the quarterly live tables transferred to the ONS from the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG). Please note that during the transfer, the Office for National Statistics has renumbered the live tables - full details of the new numbers and their corresponding DCLG numbers can be found in the contents tab.

This publication is produced monthly and provides price movement data at all manufacturing, aggregated industry and product group level. It consists of data supplied from individual UK manufacturers, importers and exporters. The Reference Tables show price indices of: Materials & fuel purchased: all manufacturing & selected industries (Table 1)

This spreadsheet pulls together the numerous tables that were published prior to the launch of the new ONS website. It provides a one-stop-shop which aims to complement the Consumer Price Indices Time Series data sets that can be found via the ONS website The 'Contents' page provides guidance on those data sets which are included, along with a correlation index showing old and new naming conventions and previous publication source(s), for example: RPI All items 1947 -2013.
