This release presents trends in estimates of mortality rates for males and females of working age in English regions and Wales, from 2001-03 to 2008-10, calculated using population denominators derived from the Labour Force Survey (LFS). The analysis is based on the seven class reduced National Statistics Socio-economic Classification (NS-SEC).

Revision Triangles are tables that use historical Index of Services data to compare the estimates produced at first publication against the estimates published 12 months later. Index of Services shows the monthly movements in gross value added for the service industries, which overall account for around 77% of UK Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

STIM tables contain detailed information on the characteristics of short-term international migrants. Table STIM.01 is based on information collected by the International Passenger Survey (IPS) at the end of migrants' visits and contains information on migrant flows to and from England and Wales. Estimates are provided for migrations of one to twelve months, three to twelve months and migrations meeting the United Nations definition of short-term migration. This table shows estimates broken down by migrants' main reason for migration. Broad reason groupings are published. Estimates are available for mid years (July to June) 2004 to 2011.

Estimates are provided for migrations meeting the United Nations definition of short-term migration and are for inflows only. This table shows the estimates of the overall flows into England and Wales by migrants' main reason for migration (employment or study) distributed, using the administrative data, down to regional and local authority level. Estimates are available for mid years (July to June) 2008 to 2011.

This table illustrates the extent to which individual businesses experienced actual changes in their sales between April 2012 and April 2013. The table contains information only from businesses which reported in both periods. Cells with values less than 10 are suppressed for some classification categories

It consists of data supplied from individual UK manufacturers, importers and exporters. Revisions to data provide one indication of the reliability of key indicators. This spreadsheet shows summary information on the size and direction of the revisions which have been made to the data covering a five year period. A statistical test has been applied to the average revision to find out if it is statistically significantly different from zero. These numbers include the effect of the reclassification onto SIC 2007.

This dataset provides price movement data at all manufacturing, aggregated industry and product group level. It consists of data supplied from individual UK manufacturers, importers and exporters. Indices for the latest two months are provisional due to the level of imputation present for items where the latest prices are not available. The latest five months are subject to revisions in light of (a) late and revised contributor data and (b) revisions to seasonal adjustment factors which are re-estimated every month.

Contains cost indices (purchase of materials and fuels, average weekly earnings, general expenses and combined costs) relating to four aerospace and electronics industries. The data are based on the Standard Industrial Classification SIC (2007) and are calculated on a base year of 2005=100. The indices are widely used by government and business as an authoritative source of information on inflation, cost adjusting and price variation in trading contracts. Indices for the latest two months are always provisional and flagged with a "p" marker due to the level of imputation present for items where the latest prices are not available. This level of imputation reduces significantly for earlier months, allowing index data to be published as firm values. Occasionally, new information produces a change in the value of an index already published as firm. Where change is significant, index values are recalculated and annotated with an "r" marker.
