This information note explains the revisions policy adopted by the Wealth and Assets Survey.
This policy describes how planned revisions will be published for MQ5.
Arrangements for unplanned revisions are included as part of the ONS compliance statement. This policy covered all releases of the output, whether through statistical bulletin, news release, web release or release of datasets.
The MQ5 output is not market sensitive, so the associated provisions in the ONS compliance statement do not apply.

This article explains ONS's new policy on providing users with more information in its First Releases about revisions. This will help users interpret and use the latest estimates as they will know how estimates have been revised in the past.
The new information will appear in a standard form in each First Release, accompanied by explanations of any special features if necessary.
