Second Estimate of GDP, Q1 2013
This release contains estimates of the key components of GDP from the output, income and expenditure approaches.
Gross Domestic Product measures the chained volume index movements of the UK. The services sector accounts for more than three quarters of total gross domestic product. Figures are adjusted for seasonal variations unless otherwise stated and the reference year is 2009=100.

Public Sector Finances, April 2013
The PSF Statistical Bulletin, is published jointly by ONS and HM Treasury on a monthly basis, and provides the latest available measures for key public sector financial statistics such as Public Sector Current Budget (PSCB), Net Borrowing (PSNB), Net Debt (PSND) and PSND as a percentage of GDP. These key indicators are provided on two bases. One set includes the temporary effects of financial interventions made in response to the financial crisis that began in 2007, such as the establishment of public ownership/control of several major banking groups. An alternative set of indicators, the so-called ‘ex-measures’, excludes the temporary effects of financial interventions.

Avoidable mortality in England and Wales, 2011
This bulletin presents mortality figures for causes of death that are considered avoidable in the presence of timely and effective healthcare or public health interventions (avoidable mortality). Figures are presented for England and Wales and the regions of England for the period 2001–2011. Trends in mortality by causes considered preventable (preventable mortality) or amenable to healthcare (amenable mortality), which are subsets of total avoidable mortality are also presented.

House Price Index, March 2013

2011 Census latest findings
Today the Office for National Statistics (ONS) publishes new findings from the 2011 Census, which expand on previously published statistics. These give users the opportunity to glean richer, more ‘three-dimensional’ insights into detailed characteristics of the population. The tables provide details down to local authority and regional level in England and Wales. They offer more informative characteristics relating to: unpaid care, health, migration, ethnic group, national identity, religion and language.

Detailed Characteristics for England and Wales, March 2011
This bulletin, 2011 Census Detailed Characteristics for England and Wales, supplements the release of the Key Statistics in December 2012 and Quick Statistics in January 2013. It presents findings for England and Wales drawn from the first release of detailed Characteristics tables that provide cross tabulations of two or more topics from the census. The 2011 Census statistics covered are unique because the census is the only information source that measures these characteristics together across the whole population.
