Please supply a daily time series of the total number of suicides in England & Wales, by date of occurrence, from 01/01/1997 to 31/12/2019, broken down by sex, and within each sex further broken down by 5-year age group.

Whilst we hold data and analysis of suicides in England and Wales, we do not hold analysis showing a daily time series of suicide occurrences by your requested disaggregation.
However, we can create a custom output. Special extracts and tabulations of mortality data for England and Wales are available to order (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, where appropriate). Such enquiries can be made to: Health.Data@ons.gov.uk.
