Number of suicides by month for England and Wales from 2015 onwards

Please could you share the number of suicides by month for England & Wales from 2015 onwards?

So far, I have only been able to find data up to 2015.

As suggested, suicide data by month of occurrence can be found from 1981 to 2015 in the following link:

Unfortunately, we do not hold suicide figures by month after 2015. This information requested would need to be created, as raw data would need to be manipulated by our Health Data team.

However, we do hold similar suicide data that may be of interest to you.

The latest available year for figures based on the date of death are suicides that occurred in 2017, which is available via the following link: Suicides that occurred in 2017. Suicide figures by month for 2016 and 2017 have not yet been published.

We may be able to create something along the lines of your request as bespoke analysis. Such services fall outside of the Freedom of Information regime and would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreement of costs where appropriate.
