Across London, the average house price in September 2024 was £526,000, which was in line with a year earlier (£528,000).
Across Great Britain, a home sold for an average of £294,000 in September 2024, which was up from the September 2023 average of £286,000.
In the year to September 2024, the average price for flats in Tower Hamlets rose by 5.4%, while the average price for detached properties stayed around the same over the year.
For each property type, average prices as of September 2024 in Tower Hamlets were:

- Semi-detached properties: £753,000
- Terraced properties: £692,000
