Thank you for your enquiry

The data in the latest weekly deaths' publication is now available by standard 5-year age band.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide single year of age data because we do not produce ad hoc tables based on provisional data. We're also bound to protect the confidentiality of the individual and data at this level could prove disclosive. The age bands in the latest publication are as granular as we can provide and have been revised to meet customer needs as best we can.

The data will be available after the 2020 death registrations are finalised in Summer 2021. The information requested would be available to commission as a bespoke analysis. Such services would fall outside of the Freedom of Information regime and would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreement of costs, where appropriate.

If you would like to discuss your requirements further, please contact health.data@ons.gov.uk.
