However, we do publish statistics on the number of completed dwellings in the UK according to building control inspections, which are estimated to cover approximately 80% of the total number of completed dwellings.
In addition, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government publishes the most comprehensive measure of house building for England on an annual basis, which covers all completed dwellings for England and for the local authority districts within.
