I am seeking annual rates of cervical cancer in the UK for 2012-2014.
They appear not to have been updated since 2011. Please also advise why they have not been updated annually.

Unfortunately ONS is not able to provide the data you require as the production of the output ceased following the 2013 consultation on statistical products.
The UK cancer rates were produced as part of the Cancer Incidence and Mortality in the UK statistical bulletin. In 2013 ONS ran a consultation exercise on its statistical products: http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/about-ons/get-involved/consultations-and-user-surveys/consultations/statistical-products-2013/index.html which included reviewing the continuation of this product.
The outcome of the consultation was that the annual statistical bulletin on Cancer Incidence and Mortality in the UK will no longer be produced: http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/about-ons/get-involved/consultations-and-user-surveys/consultations/statistical-products-2013/updated-response-to-ons-consultation-on-statistical-products-2013/index.html
The rationale was that figures on cancer incidence for England and cancer mortality for England and Wales will continue to be produced by ONS. Cancer mortality and incidence figures for all other constituent countries are available from devolved administrations. Thereby discontinuing the output would not stop third parties from collating the data from the UK constituent counties and compiling their own UK level statistics.
