You asked
As the Office for National Statistics (ONS) had three members of staff present at this meeting, I trust that my request for information should be straightforward to address. Specifically, I am seeking:
The letter sent by Minister of State for Universities, Michelle Donelan, to ONS following the Suicide Prevention Roundtable Meeting on 28th June 2021, in which the Minister sought a commitment from ONS to produce a regular linked dataset on higher education student suicides.
The ONS reply to Minister Donelan's letter, including any subsequent communications regarding the commitment to produce a regular linked dataset on higher education student suicides.
Any internal ONS documents, meeting notes, or other communications related to the preparation and drafting of the ONS reply to Minister Donelan’s letter, as well as any actions taken immediately following the reply regarding the development of a regular linked dataset on higher education student suicides.
Kindly respond via email, sent to the @whatdotheyknow.com email address associated with this request.
Please confirm receipt of this request and provide the requested information within the statutory timeframe of 20 working days. Should any part of this request be exempt from disclosure, I kindly request an explanation for the applicable exemptions.
Thank you for your assistance.
