- Any separate pay ranges for specialist roles (if any);
- Details of progression arrangements for each stated pay range.
In addition please provide details of:
- any fixed allowances paid for specific qualifications or skills e.g. accountancy, legal etc;
- any special rates or allowances to attract and retain DDaT skills;

Progression through the pay range is currently subject to collective pay bargaining with Departmental Trade Unions.

For Delegated grades (AA-Grade 6) in the Authority an in-year recognition scheme operates. Nominations are made as follows:
peer to peer awards of £50
Team awards of £50
Individual awards up to £450, and
exceptional awards up to £700.
SCS Departments are led by Central Guidance. There is a non-consolidated end-year bonus and in-year bonus available. End year bonus is restricted to the Top 25% performers. Outstanding contribution for up to 20% of SCS staff can be rewarded by an in-year bonus up to £5,000.

SCS pay is set currently by Cabinet Office on an annual basis and in 2018 there was the flexibility to award job weight, challenge of role, and/or position in the pay range base linked to performance, if a department chooses to do so.
