We said
Thank you for your request.
You have made a Freedom of Information Request asking for the number of people with Haemophilia who have died from causes attributed to: HIV / AIDS and/or Hepatitis per annum since 1980.
We are unable to provide figures on the number of people with Haemophilia who have died from HIV/ AIDS and/or Hepatitis as we do not hold that information. However, we are able to provide figures on the number of deaths from HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis. Our data is based on deaths that have been registered in England and Wales and does not contain information on the conditions that the deceased may have been diagnosed with. These figures for England and Wales for 1980-2015 can be obtained from the Vital Statistics Outputs Branch.
Special extracts and tabulations of mortality data for England and Wales are available to order (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, where appropriate). Such enquiries should be made to: vsob@ons.gov.uk. We recommend that you contact the team directly in order to discuss your data requirements in more detail.
