Deaths caused by influenza in the UK

Please provide the number of deaths caused by Influenza in the UK.

The period I am looking for is from week 40 2017 to week 15 2018 and this is for the age group 65+.

We are responsible for publishing statistics on deaths registered in England and Wales. We publish deaths registered weekly in England and Wales which includes figures for deaths by all respiratory diseases as an underlying cause.

We do not hold deaths data for Scotland and Northern Ireland. National Records of Scotland (NRS) is responsible for publishing weekly deaths registered in Scotland. Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) is responsible for publishing weekly deaths registered in Northern Ireland.
