The most recent Gender Pay Gap report for UK Statistics Authority was published on 22 February 2023 and covers the year 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022. All data used to answer this query is taken from that data source.
A positive gap indicates that median hourly pay for men was higher than for women, a negative gap indicates that median hourly pay for men was lower than for women.
The median hourly pay gap between men and women for the most recent financial year (2022) was 0.9%
The median hourly pay gap for full-time employees for the most recent financial year was (2022) 13.5%
The median hourly pay gap for part-time employees, for the most recent financial year (2022) was -15.3%
The median hourly pay gap for senior managers (SCS) and directors, for the most recent financial year (2022) was -3.7%
The 2023 Gender Pay Report will be published before 31 March 2024 in line with the reporting requirements set out in the 2010 Equality Act.
