Thank you for your Freedom of Information request asking for immigration statistics from Fiji to the UK between 1945 up to the present day, broken down by year. You have asked for a breakdown of those statistics by the ethnicities of White British, iTaukei Fijians, Indo-Fijians and others, and also for the numbers for Fiji-born people living in the UK as naturalised British citizens.
We publish statistics on the Population of the UK by country of birth and nationality each year and you will be able to find the number of people born in Fiji (Table A) or who hold Fijian citizenship (Table C) resident in the UK between 2000 and 2019.This is the latest available data. Before 2000 our data are not broken down by country.
Data from the 2011 Census provides information about ethnicity and citizenship status and can be accessed via the Nomis website where you can tailor your search using the Query Data function.
