Thank you for your enquiry.

Although we publish data on the number of offences reported to and recorded by the police in England and Wales, we do not hold any information that would allow us to separately identify offences by occupation or by business premises.

However, you may be interested in the latest figures for assault with injury, harassment and sexual offences recorded by the police. These are published in the Crime in England and Wales; year ending June 2019 (Appendix table A4) publication:

https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/crimeandjustice/datasets/crimeinenglandandwalesappendixtables

The offences of grievous bodily harm and actual bodily harm were replaced with a new offence classification on 01 April 2012. They are now both classified as 'assault with injury'. Spiking of drinks would also currently be recorded under this offence classification.

More detailed data on police recorded crime in England and Wales are collated by the Home Office; you may wish to try contacting them (via crimeandpolicestats@homeoffice.gov.uk) to see if they can provide the information you require, though it is unlikely they will be able to do so.

We regret that we are unable to assist you further. If you would like any further information, you can email us at crimestatistics@ons.gov.uk and we will endeavour to help.
