You asked
I would like deaths recorded of people who have died from flu, how many had been recorded that they had been vaccinated? Indeed, is it recorded on the death certificate that people have had a vaccine for flu?
We said
Thank you for your enquiry.
We are unable to provide you with Influenza deaths for patients who had the flu jab, as vaccination data is not supplied on the death certificate. Therefore, we do not hold this information.
Our NOMIS webservice can provide annual deaths due to influenza from 2013-2019. 2020 data will be available in July 2021.
