In-store retail sales in chained volumes and value terms

Would it be possible for the ONS to provide data on retail sales excluding online retailers in both chained volumes and values terms?

Retail sales are collected and published by Standard Industrial Classification (SIC). Unfortunately, an online retailer industry is not available in this classification so we are unable to disaggregate the data as requested.

We can provide a breakdown of retail sales including and excluding online sales. Please see the associated download named "Total Retail Sales including automotive fuel.xlsx" for the value of total retail sales disaggregated by instore and online sales.

Unfortunately, we do not calculate a chained volume series for online or in-store sales, so do not hold this information.
