We said
Thank you for your enquiry regarding victims of knife crime.
We publish figures on trends in knife crime by police force area. Table P4 provides the number of offences involving a knife or sharp instrument for selected offences by police force area. We cannot provide you with the number of offences over the last 10 years, but we can provide data back to the year ending March 2011 (Table P5).
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with the other information you have requested. We do not have information on the victims of knife crime specifically. However, you may be interested in information on homicides which involved a sharp instrument, broken down by age and sex of the victim. These data are available in Appendix Table 5 at this link and include data up to the year ending March 2018.
You may also find our ‘Offences involving the use of weapons’ tables of interest, these can be accessed here.
