I am writing to inquire whether it would be possible to receive the following information:
the most recent information on the number of live births in Greater Manchester to women whose country of birth is Poland
the most recent information on the number of women and men in Greater Manchester between 25-40 years of age whose country of birth is Poland

In terms of your first question, in 2013 there were 781 live births in Greater Manchester to women whose country of birth was Poland.
Information on parents' country of birth for 2014 will be published in August/September 2015.

In terms of your second question, the ONS collects data on country of birth and nationality from the Annual Population Survey (APS) which covers residents of the UK. Details for UK residents born in Poland and currently residing within the Local Authorities within Greater Manchester can be found in our published underlying datasheets, the latest of which is for the period January to December 2013.
The "Population by Country of Birth and Nationality Tables, January 2013 - December 2013" tables contain 13 aggregate tables. The "Underlying Datasheets for Population by Country of Birth and Nationality Tables, January 2013 - December 2013" contain the underlying data used to produce the tables above.
Further information on the APS is available in the "Notes to tables" section located within the spreadsheets. Please note that the data within these spreadsheets is due to be revised on 2 July 2015 due to the APS being re-weighted in line with the results of the 2011 Census.
Unfortunately, as the estimates are based on a sample survey, ONS are unable to provide estimates for individual countries broken down by age and or sex variables. It would render the data either too unreliable, or they would be suppressed due to disclosure control rules, because they were derived from less than three APS contacts.
Estimates for calendar year 2014 will be published on 27 August 2015.
