You have made a Freedom of Information request for statistics about the total amount of council house residents in Hull, how many council tenants claim benefits, and how many council houses have been sold under right to buy in the past ten years.
Information on tenure, which includes those residents and households renting from the council, is available from the 2011 Census. The attached Table QS403 (17.5 Kb Excel sheet) for the Local Authority of City of Kingston upon Hull includes the tenure for all household residents in Kingston upon Hull. This table was extracted from the nomis website.
The Census does not collect information on benefit claimants or council house sales. Information on benefit claims is collected by the Department of Work and Pensions and is also available from nomis.
Alternatively, Hull City Council may be able to help you: info@hullcc.gov.uk
If you require any further information regarding results from the 2011 Census or help with navigating the nomis website, please contact the census customer services team at census.customerservices@ons.gov.uk
