The Wealth and Assets Survey (WAS) is able to provide some information on High Net Wealth. The survey’s latest data is for the period from July 2012 to June 2014. The survey captures four elements of wealth: Property wealth, Financial wealth, Pension wealth and Physical wealth. For your analysis I have created a wealth that includes our definitions of Financial and Physical wealth and tailored our measure of property wealth by removing the value of the respondent’s main residence to align as near as possible with the elements of wealth you are interested in.
Your request is for individuals, however the information on property wealth is processed at household level. Therefore, I can only provide you with the number of households that fall into your categories of high net wealth.
