Please can you provide the figures of the estimated number of victims of crime in each of the past five years. If this data is not available please can you provide the reasons why it is not calculated.

The data you require have been published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and are available in the appendix tables accompanying our latest quarterly crime statistics publication, ‘Crime in England and Wales, year ending September 2015’, which was released on 21st January.

In particular, Appendix table A1 provides the number of victims of crime, as estimated by the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW), for each of the main offence types over at least the last five financial years (April to March):
