Thank you for your request.
We do not hold information on the true size of the biggest pensions pots or ISA pots in the UK. Our estimates of wealth are derived from the Wealth and Assets survey. The most recent publication of the data covers the time period April 2018 to March 2020, which collected information on wealth components from approximately 17,500 households in Great Britain.
The Wealth and Pensions Team would be happy to discuss any further questions or analytical requests directly at wealth.and.assets.survey@ons.gov.uk.
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) may be able to assist further with your query. They can be contacted via the following email address: foi.request@hmrc.gov.uk.
