Is it possible to request data held by yourselves detailing the statistics on:
the number of suicides over the period between 2017-2022 where the occupation of the deceased is listed as Police Officer in both England and Wales
a breakdown of age groups and genders please

The latest data on suicides by occupation can be found in this published user request. Figures for deaths from suicide for police officers, deaths registered between 2011 and 2021 can be found in table four of the corresponding spreadsheets.
Further information is available to order via our bespoke services route. This is subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs in line with the ONS Charging Policy.
Please not that we would not be able to provide an age breakdown due to the risk of disclosure.
