You asked

How many white people were victims of racially motivated crime?

We said

Thank you for contacting the ONS Centre for Crime and Justice.

The Home Office are responsible for producing Hate Crime statistics from both police recorded crime data and Crime Survey for England Wales (CSEW) data.

Because of sample sizes and the number of hate crimes estimated by the CSEW, figures for one year are unreliable and so 3 survey years must be combined.

The latest CSEW-based published statistics covered the year ending (YE) March 2018 to YE March 2020. The most recent publication can be found here: Hate crime, England and Wales, 2019 to 2020 – GOV.UK

CSEW estimates of hate crimes by strand can be found in Tables 7, 8 and 9 of the Hate crime, England and Wales, 2019 to 2020: appendix tables. Table 15 shows a breakdown by characteristics, including ethnicity, for victims of racially motivated hate crime.
