Thank you for your Freedom of Information request regarding statistics of the Somali community living in the UK or London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leicester and Sheffield.
The latest data for these areas, published 29 November 2018, can be accessed via our website. We produce estimates based on two different definitions: country of birth or nationality. These estimates are published by calendar year (in May) and mid-year (in November) and can be found within the link.
To locate the required data, select the latest available data within the link. Then select either Table B (country of birth), and use column B and DQ, or Table D (nationality), using column B and CY.
