Thank you for your enquiry. We only hold mortality data for England and Wales. Data for Scotland and Northern Ireland can be requested from National Records of Scotland and Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency.
We recently published the number of suicides by sex, country and occupation, deaths registered 2011 to 2018 which covers all of the occupations you mentioned above except mental health nurses as there is not a standard occupation classification (SOC) code for this occupation as they fall under the 'nurses' category: https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/birthsdeathsandmarriages/deaths/adhocs/10807suicidebyoccupationenglandandwales2011to2018registrations
Prior to the above, we had also published the number of suicides among health professionals for England and Wales for deaths registered between 2011 and 2018:
The number of deaths is presented to 2018, which is the latest available year of complete death registrations.
We can provide the number of suicides per year by key variables such as age, sex, occupation and geographical area, such as a regional breakdown. Special extracts and tabulations of mortality data for England and Wales are available to order (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, where appropriate). If you wish to discuss your data requirements in more detail you can contact the Mortality Analysis team at mortality@ons.gov.uk.
