A previous FOI request (FOI REF: FOI/2023/4987) requested information of police employee death by suicide in the years 2019-2023.
The response suggests there is data available from 2011-2021 (thank you for providing that). It also states there is a delay in death registration so data for 2022 onwards could not be provided.
I believe there should now be data for both 2022 and 2023. Please could this be made available?

Under our user requested data service we have released the number of deaths due to suicide by occupation for 2021 and 2022. We have not produced figures for suicides by occupation for deaths that were registered in 2023.
The requested information would therefore need to be created as a custom output. Information on suicides by occupation, deaths registered in 2023, along with other special extracts and tabulations of mortality data for England and Wales are available to order. Please note these services are subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs in line with our charging policy.
