We said
The Authority Board met in Scotland on three occasions:
20 June 2008. On this occasion the Board also visited the Scottish Parliament.
11 September 2009. On this occasion the Board also attended the Royal Statistical Society conference in Edinburgh, at which the Chair, Sir Michael Scholar, addressed delegates.
3 October 2013. On this occasion the Board also attended the Royal Society of Edinburgh for launch of the Authority's Monitoring Review, "Official statistics in the context of the referendum on Scottish independence".
At its meeting of 20 June 2008 in Edinburgh, the Statistics Authority also endorsed the establishment of an Inter Administration Committee (IAC), tasked with promoting coherence across the administrations of the UK and resolve inter-administration issues. This meets four times per year and rotates location so that each year it meets in Edinburgh, Cardiff, Belfast and London. It is chaired by the National Statistician, who is the Authority Board's Chief Executive, and the Chief Statisticians from the devolved administrations are members.
