Stakeholder Advisory Panel on Labour Market Statistics
The Stakeholder Advisory Panel on Labour Market Statistics provides independent advice to the National Statistician on the uses and application of labour market statistics.
The establishment of the Panel was recommended as part of an Office for National Statistics (ONS) review of the LFS in May 2024.
Transformation of labour market statistics in Northern Ireland
The Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA)is currently in the process of transforming the LFS and associated labour market statistics for Northern Ireland. This work is being advanced alongside work by the ONS to transform the LFS in Great Britain. This will ensure the continued accuracy and reliability of UK-wide statistics.
