We produce our employers’ voluntary redundancy payments series using our total redundancy data. The main source of this data is the Annual Business Survey (ABS). Total redundancy data is part of our employers’ social contributions dataset (series identifier HAED, published quarterly as part of our UK Economic Accounts dataset). However, be aware that there are some limitations in the methodology we use to produce our voluntary redundancy subseries because of data availability. Our methodology is currently under review while we improve the quality of our data.
