Due to system issues the UK Economic Accounts published on the 30th September 2022 the General Government consumption of fixed capital series (NMXO) time series data was not published for the time periods 2021 annually and 2021 Quarter 1 onwards. This has now been rectified.

Due to system issues some balance of payments and gross fixed capital formation data within the UK Economic Accounts time series dataset published on the 30th September 2022 were incorrectly populated. This has now been updated with data consistent with Pink and Blue Books 2022.

We have corrected an error with dataset identifiers MWB6, MWB7 and CRSF and their associated growth rates in Table 1.1.5B of our UK Economic Accounts dataset, published on 30 September 2025. This happened because of a processing issue.

A number of legacy time series relating to historical gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) for the period 1987 to 1996 were unintentionally included in the UK Economic Accounts dataset. These series have now been removed to maintain consistency with previous practice on pre-1997 data content. We apologise for this correction.

A processing error has been identified in the calculation of four indices' published values, from 2024 to the latest.

Please note: Data for 2023 onwards for these series were also affected by the same processing error for the following earlier editions of the dataset, which have not been corrected: July to September 2024, October to December 2024, and January to March 2025. Please use the most recent dataset if you are interested in these series.
