Summary of request
These experimental statistics have been produced as part of a user request that we originally fulfilled In October 2018. Since completing this work the user has requested a slightly different definition of industry sectors. The new analysis contained in the Excel document has therefore replaced the earlier version. The statistics present estimates of UK trade by user requested bespoke industry sector for exports and imports to and from the EU, and countries outside of the EU, for 2016.
Users should note that for services, the estimates only include industry sections covered by our International Trade in Services (ITIS) survey, which excludes the travel, transport and banking industries.
