ONS identified that a publication error caused the annual total change in inventories series (ABMQ) to appear incorrectly within the UK National Accounts, The Blue Book: 2018 publication. This correction affects the 1997 value in table 1.3. This has now been amended.

ONS identified that a publication error caused the annual total change in inventories series (ABMQ) to appear incorrectly within the UK National Accounts, The Blue Book: 2018 publication. This correction affects the 1997 value in table 1.3. This issue only impacts the value in table 1.3 and does not impact any aggregations dependant on the non-seasonally adjusted, chain volume measure inventories figure, GDP included. This has now been amended.
