Private and public sector wage differences 2011 to 2017

Summary of request

The tables show the results of a quantile regression model run on ASHE data. They report the percentage by which private sector wages are above public sector wages at various percentiles of the distribution for three measures of hourly compensation in individual years from 2011 to 2017. The first table provides these figures for workers in private sector firms differentiated by size and the second table for workers in private sector firms differentiated by industry.
