About this article
The subnational labour market covers the regional labour market statistical bulletin, along with the monthly production and publication of associated tables and interactive content.
These bulletins include labour market estimates from the LFS on employment, unemployment and economic inactivity at the regional level; APS estimates of employment by age, full-time and part-time working, economic activity and inactivity by age, and reasons for inactivity; and counts of claimants of Jobseeker's Allowance by region, local and unitary authorities, and parliamentary constituencies, as well as by age and duration.
Also included are hours of work, “workforce jobs” estimates, and public- and private-sector employment.
