Number of people economically inactive because of long-term sickness by industry, 2018 to 2019 and 2020 to 2021. The data tables are limited to the top 10 industries by number of workers and to individuals who were employed within the previous two years of the relevant time periods. Figures include the long-term sickness rate per 1,000 workers and total number of people in employment by industry.
