If your web browser (the software you use to access the internet) is out of date, you should either update it to the latest version or switch to a new browser.
This will mean:
- your computer will be more secure and less likely to be attacked
- it will be faster to browse the internet
- you will see more features on many websites
Your browser will often update automatically but you can also check for and install browser updates manually.
How to switch to a new browser
Choose a browser from the following list and follow the instructions for installing it.
