Correspondence on classification of train operating companies now running under emergency measures agreements

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has completed an assessment of the train operating companies operating under emergency measures agreements with the UK and Scottish Governments.

As there is a pronounced public interest in this classification, we are publishing the classification notification letters we sent to HM Treasury and the Scottish Government, while also publishing the classification in the Public Sector Classification Guide in the usual way.
