Summary of request

This table presents the number of times each of the specified causes were mentioned on death certificates in England and Wales either as the underlying cause of death or as a contributory factor in the death. The table presents the number of:

  1. Mentions of any cancer (all malignant neoplasms)
  2. Mentions of lung, bladder or brain cancer
  3. Mentions of cancer (all) and Venous thromboembolism (VTE)
  4. Mentions of lung, bladder or brain cancer and Venous thromboembolism (VTE)
