Summary of request
Statistics for the number of residential property transactions for all dwellings, newly built dwellings and existing dwellings by type of property, registered in a given month between 2007 and 2016 in England and Wales. They are calculated using open data from the Land Registry, a source of comprehensive record level administrative data on property transactions. Statistics are calculated using the same method as the House Price Statistics for Small Areas (HPSSAs).
