Table A11 - Mean disposable income for each age groups

Summary of request

Mean disposable income measures by age group of household reference person. This data utilises LCF data to understand the mean disposable income of the age groups captures in Family Spending Workbook 1 - "Table A11: Detailed expenditure by age of household reference person". We maintain income measures within Family Spending, using LCF data, to keep a consistent approach to grouping households by income and align with our Family Spending outputs. This measure of income is not the same as our preferred measure captured in our National Statistic income, for example it excludes Housing Benefits (Family Spending treats these as a reduction in housing expenditure).
