Summary of request
There are four types of wealth that are captured as part of the Wealth and Assets Survey (WAS). These cover property (including land), pension, physical and financial. Asset figures cover all four types of wealth. Only the financial (including mortgages) aspect of wealth is relevant for the estimate of liabilities. Estimates relate to the median figure for households within each region. The chart shows the latest data available which covers the period 2012 to 2014.
