We have corrected an error with the National Park population estimates for mid-2012 to mid-2020 published on 25 November 2024. In the previous version an incorrect file was used to split OA (2011) estimates to OA (2021) and resulted an estimates of zero population for a large proportion of newly created output areas, this then impacted the production of National Park population estimates.
This happened because of a human error.
