Clustering similar local authorities in the UK

Summary of request

Data showing the results of our clustering analysis at UK wide coverage, building on our publication 'clustering local authorities against subnational indicators' at England only coverage in February 2023. The data includes the assigned cluster for each local authority for each model, the data used to build the models, statistical information relating to the models and the regional composition of each cluster. See our methodology article for more information on methods used in this analysis.

Notice

This data was corrected on 27 March 2024 after an error was discovered in our silhouette score calculations, this error impacted tab 5 in the tables only and this tab has now been corrected.
