A correction has been made to figures in Tables 17 and 20. Devon and Cornwall police were unable to provide data from October 2022 onwards, therefore data has been excluded for the latest two years. This was not taken into account when calculating rates per 10,000 population in the supplied data, affecting rates for England and Wales, England and the South West region.

A correction has been made to figures in Tables 7 and 9 of the year ending March 2023 edition of this dataset. Within the Output Area Classification breakdown, the “Multicultural metropolitans” category was duplicated in error. This has been amended to include the correct category: “Urbanites”
