A minor error was identified in the Adult Smoking Habits in England 2023 dataset (Table 5), where the column labels for 2022 and 2023 were inverted. No data was affected. The error has now been corrected, and we apologise for any confusion caused.

There was a minor error in the coding used to produce some tables in the Adult smoking habits in England 2022 dataset, specifically the 2022 estimates for Tables 4, 5 and 6. The error also affects the corresponding confidence intervals in Table 7. The corrected version will be available in the 2023 edition of the dataset.
