Summary
Estimates of the number of people in employment on contracts where they are not guaranteed any hours in a given week, also known as “zero hours contracts”. This is a regular update of a report last published by ONS on 9 March 2016. It comprises the latest figures from the Labour Force Survey for the period April to June 2016 and the results from the previously published ONS survey of businesses relating to November 2015. Updated estimates from the business survey, relating to May 2016, are not available for this report and will be published later this year.
